Free Parking and Shuttle Service
NMSU makes it easy and affordable to park and commute around campus. Aggie Transit provides three free shuttle routes that transport riders with a valid NMSU ID from free parking lots to the far reaches of campus, with multiple stops in between. Save your hard-earned cash and avoid the morning and afternoon parking rush with the free Aggie Transit.

Prefer to Park Closer?
A variety of NMSU Parking Permits are available for those who wish to park in a designated "pay" parking lot. Parking rules are enforced Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Please consult the campus map for designated parking locations.

Vehicle Rentals
Choose from a variety of cars, trucks and vans to help make your departmental travel more efficient and cost effective. Vehicle Rental Forms may be downloaded online and submitted via campus mail to Transportation at MSC 3545, as a PDF attachment to transport@nmsu.edu , or by FAX to 575-646-1756.

Fueling
Diesel and unleaded fuel is available for university vehicles 24 hours a day at our service station located immediately south of the Fire Station on Research Drive. Prices are typically a few cents less per gallon than pump prices in town. The system requires a magnetic key for your vehicle, the correct vehicle odometer reading and an NMSU Banner ID personnel card.

Vehicle Management Software
Transportation Services maintains a comprehensive Vehicle Management software package (RTA) . This software is offered free of cost to the Vehicle Coordinator within any of NMSU's Major Organizational Groups.
